Our School
As a teacher, Maggie's goal is to share her love of Irish Dance with her own students, just as her teachers did with her, in a fun and supportive atmosphere. In addition, the McCoy School strives to keep alive our rich Irish Cultural heritage of dance, music and costume for future generations, by sharing it's talents with the community through performances at various cultural events.
By building on a strong foundation of basics, our students are able to reach their maximum potential as dancers and progress with poise and confidence. For those students who show an interest and ability the opportunity is available to enter competitions called feisanna, but we also cater to the dancer who just wants to enjoy the social and cultural aspects of Irish Dance. And, there are plenty of opportunities for performances for all levels of dancers to participate in throughout the year.
